Recording Studio – Cardiff, Wales.
Welcome To Acapela Studios The Unique Recording Venue.
Acapela is a recording studio and music production house set in a converted Welsh chapel. Its real timber flooring and high ceiling give you the space to perform naturally. The studio has welcomed a range of top selling artists including Sir Karl Jenkins, Sir Bryn Terfel, Paul Potts, Cerys Matthews, Amy Wadge and many more.
In addition, the venue is one of the most popular small music venues in Wales with over 100 concerts now held every year covering a variety of music genres. As well as many local bands, world famous artists have sold to sell-out crowds. This has included Toyah Willcox, The Christians, Kiki Dee, Fairport Convention and many more.
Unlike many box like recording studios the structure and ambience of this lovely Welsh chapel makes for a wonderful back drop for any performance artist. As well as a great performance space, the music hall provides an excellent live recording space. This also houses a newly built isolation room, perfect for achieving separation when multi-tracking live (often preferable for ensembles and bands) and serves as a ‘dead’ room for singers, voiceovers, solo instruments or guitar amps where appropriate.
You can view videos of many artists who have recorded at the venue on the Acapela Media page on Youtube.
