Whilst the concert activities are well publicised to all, the studio recording work at Acapela is less well known.
We were delighted at the weekend to welcome Decca Records who utilised our great studio and performing space to record an album for Welsh tenor Trystan Griffiths.
The recording session was set up to record Trystan’s first CD for Decca and included Ar ÔL Tri the male voice choir from Cardigan, pianist David Doidge and cellist and conductor Steffan Morris.
If you ever wondered what the room to the right of the stage is for, then the photos reveal all…..no he’s not locked in it’s the vocal sound booth!
